Van Life
I always get inspired when I see social media posts about van life. So I built this animation from the ground up. I wanted to use an isometric design, something clean and appealing. In order to achieve the effect of the van building itself into place, I made the graphic in Adobe Illustrator and purposefully segmented out the animated pieces. You can see screenshots of my illustration process below the video. It was important to be organized because there were so many moving parts. After that, I brought it into After Effects and created shapes from the vector layers.
